About onwrd.

We all spend our lives moving in a direction.

Sometimes the next step is obvious. Sometimes it's difficult. Sometimes it feels like we've lost our way altogether.

onwrd exists to help people keep moving forward.

This is a place for thoughtful reflections on faith, leadership, personal growth, ministry, family, and the lessons learned along the way. Some posts will be practical. Others will be deeply personal. Many will simply be an attempt to wrestle with ideas worth thinking about.

My hope isn't to have all the answers. It's to ask better questions, point people toward timeless truth, and encourage the kind of growth that happens one faithful step at a time.

Because progress isn't always fast...but it's always worth pursuing.

Who's behind it?

My name is Billy Haley.

I'm a husband, father, pastor, leader, coach, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner. Over the years I've written sermons, taught Bible studies, led teams, started businesses, made mistakes, celebrated victories, and asked more questions than I can count.

I've discovered that some of life's most valuable lessons aren't found in mountaintop moments...they're uncovered in the ordinary rhythms of everyday life.

This site is where I collect those lessons.

Some posts are curated from sermon notes. Others grow from conversations, journal entries, leadership experiences, or quiet moments spent reading Scripture. Wherever they start, my goal is the same: to share ideas that help people grow in their faith, lead with greater purpose, and live intentionally.

I'm still learning, still growing, and still moving forward.
